Master Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon (briefly known as Grimlock) is the Green Ninja, the Elemental Master of Energy, the former Golden Ninja, and the leader of the ninja team. He is Garmadon and Misako's son, Wu's nephew, and the First Spinjitzu Master's grandson. He is a hybrid, descended from Oni and dragon on his father's side and human on his mother's side. Over the course of his adventures, he formerly held the mantle of the Golden Ninja, briefly used Destruction while in Oni Form, and became a conduit of the power of the Source Dragons.

- Energy - Lloyd can harness the power of Energy, allowing him to release and use green energy attacks to his advantage.
- Spinjitzu - Lloyd is capable of preforming Spinjitzu.
- Rising Dragon Technique - Lloyd is capable of preforming the Rising Dragon Technique through his Spinjitzu.
- Airjitzu - Lloyd is capable of performing Airjitzu.
- Elemental Dragon - Like all other Elemental Masters who managed to overcame their fears, Lloyd is capable of summoning his own Energy Dragon at will.
- Green Ninja cycle - For a brief amount of time, Lloyd was able to generate a fast motorcycle.
- Spinjitzu - Lloyd is capable of preforming Spinjitzu.
- Golden Power - Upon reaching his full potential and becoming the Ultimate Spinjitzu Master, he gained the ability to levitate in mid-air, in addition to incredible strength. With this power, he can also utilize the four elements of Creation at will.
- Golden Dragon - As the Golden Ninja, Lloyd gained the ability to summon the Golden Dragon from pure light energy.
- Conduit - Being granted dragon power by the Source Dragon of Energy, Lloyd became the conduit of his power. With this ability, Lloyd was able to channel the life force of a Source Dragon, allowing him to activate the Dragon Cores and consequently end the MergeQuakes.
