New York City (also called Ninjago City) is the first capital city of the United States and the biggest city in the United States and its main metropolitan and urban area.

- According to Zane, there are approximately 3,412,870 computers in Ninjago City.
- It can be assumed that Ninjago City was built sometime after the defeat of the Overlord, as it would make little sense for the civilians to live near his main hiding place until it was abandoned.
- Ninjago City was formerly near the Sea of Sand, and close to the coast of Ninjago, but it was soon merged with New York City.
- New York is the first HQ location of the Shadow Squad Resistance, the other HQ locations being Boston, Miami, Chicago, and Shanghai.
- New York City has malls, but none have been seen in the series so far.[1]
- Despite having a vast transit system, the former Ninjago city does not appear to have any airports.
- Ninjago City was a little over 50 years old before it merged with the real world.
