Where Evil Lurks is the third episode of the first season and the third episode overall on Ninjago: Realms of Death. It airs on June 19, 2019 in the United States. It is paired up with Secrets of the Dark Spinjitzu.

Sypnosis

The Ninja start on their adventure! They have to go through many places, in which one, the abandoned village, is one of the many places on Chen's island where evil lurks. When they find a board game in the jungle, they will experience one of the worst time of their lives.

Plot

The Ninja enter the jungle, finding a board game from the Haunted House. Jay touches it, and they go inside the game. Whenever the Ninja touches something from the past, they are going back in time. This also makes them younger.

When Jay rolled the dice, they encountered a sea captain and his compass. They run away and they get back on the board. Then some magical mist took them to the final problem. Jay got something from the crone, which was from the God of Old Age. This made Jay get older. So when the dice was rolled again, the Ninja came out of the board.

This is when Wu and the Pyro Vipers came. The Ninja noticed when they touched an ancient memory from the past, they are getting younger and future memories are forgotten. When the fisherman and the sea captain came about, Nya defeated them with water. Aspheera promised to release them if they bring her the return note in the worker village. Then she said that she took Heart of Sorna was taken to the Taipei Tower and that they can go there after she receives the note. Then the Ninja continue on their adventure to the worker village.
